The Azerbaijan Trade House was inaugurated Sunday at Souq Al Madina, Madina Centrale, The Pearl, where various Azerbaijani products are on display as part of enhancing Qatar-Azerbaijan trade and business relations.
Visiting Azerbaijani Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov inaugurated the establishment, along with ambassador Rashad Ismayilov, Qatar Ministry of Foreign Affairs' Department of Protocol director ambassador Ibrahim Yousif Fakhroo, United Development Company (UDC) president Ibrahim Jassim al-Othman, a number of diplomats and and other dignitaries.
Minister Jabbarov expressed his pleasure to be in friendly and brotherly Qatar for the second time, stressing that he was highly impressed by the vast and immense developments in the country clearly seen.

"Qatar-Azerbaijan bilateral relations are growing steadily and quickly in all fields, especially trade and economy, driven by the strong will for co-operation by the leaderships of the two countries," he said.
The Azerbaijani minister expressed his view that the relations between both countries are set to enjoy a further boost in future, with excellent opportunities for businesspersons, tourists and students.
"The Azerbaijan Trade House is just a start for more joint investment and bigger business cooperation between the two countries in many fields," he said.
Jabbarov congratulated Qatar for the great achievements represented in massive development projects carried out in preparation for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, affirming his belief that the legacy of the great success of this global event will last for many years to come and remembered as one of the best tournaments in its history.
The Azerbaijani minister thanked Qatar and its officials for the support given to opening the trade house, which will be an active platform for business persons from both countries to explore broader opportunities for joint investment and trade co-operation.
Ambassador Ismayilov stressed that Qatar- Azerbaijan relations are stable, strong and growing fast in all fields as both countries have a long history of friendship. He also thanked Qatar government and the UDC for supporting the key project.
Al-Othman said that the trade house is just a start for bigger projects to take place not only in Qatar but also across the region, reflecting the strong will to enhance bilateral trade and business relations.
The Azerbaijan Trade House displays a variety of premium, quality Azerbaijani products including vegetables, fruits, meat, and various items of food and groceries.
