HE the Director of the Public Health Department, Sheikh Mohamed bin Hamad al-Thani, said work is under way to establish an electronic health network that includes all (public and private) institutions in Qatar under a unified electronic system. This will ensure a rapid dissemination of information and help in raising the health system to unprecedented levels, he said pointing out to the Cerner system that connects Hamad Medical Corporation, Primary Health Care Corporation (PHCC), Sidra Medicine, and Aspetar.

The conference addresses the future of health and technologies that can help the country and raise confidence in the health sector.
He pointed out that the conference addresses the equality of all people in care and non-communicable diseases (NCD), the importance of sports for health, and the integration of health and sport to build a more integrated future.
He said WISH represents an important window to strengthen the relations between Qatar and the world, share different experiences and expertise, and raise global health awareness.

She pointed out that there is a distinct geographical distribution of healthcare, which will enable them to provide services around the tournament's stadiums. There will be eight healthcare centres running round the clock to receive emergencies.
She said PHCC's contribution also includes the participation of medical and nursing cadres in the clinics distributed throughout the country, whether in stadiums, hotels, or events areas, which showcase the role played by PHCC in providing the service to Qatar visitors during the World Cup.
