Qatar Charity (QC) has carried out reconstruction and restoration work of 1,600 houses across the Gaza Strip, benefiting more than 10,000 underprivileged persons.
Qatar Charity, through this project, endeavours to create a healthy and safe environment that can help the beneficiaries lead a dignified life.
The reconstruction and restoration work of the houses and other interventions carried out by QC contribute to easing the economic and social burdens on disadvantaged families in the Gaza Strip.
Many beneficiaries expressed their delight with the project that made their houses livable, indicating that they had to live in dilapidated houses before the interventions of Qatar Charity.
Naima Ibrahim al-Louh, a 50-year-old mother-of-five, said Qatar Charity, with the support of benefactors in Qatar, made a beautiful house for her family.
“Qatar Charity has brought a new life to me and my children by renovating the house in such a beautiful way,” said Ramzi Judeh, a breadwinner for a family of 12, including two sons with special needs.
Judeh, who is in his 60s, and al-Louh could not repair and restore their dilapidated houses due to their challenging economic conditions.
Qatar Charity’s interventions, however, changed the life of their families for the better, providing them with a safe and healthy livable environment.
