Qatar has participated in the 61st meeting of the GCC Commercial Cooperation Committee, the third meeting of the GCC Ministerial Committee for Standardisation Affairs, as well as the 48th meeting of the GCC Industrial Cooperation Committee, which were held in Manama, Bahrain.
The State of Qatar’s delegation in the meetings was headed by Sultan bin Rashid al-Khater, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry. The meetings discussed a number of topics and issues listed on the agenda, in addition to taking the appropriate pertaining decisions.



Al-Khater also attended the consultative meeting convening the ministers of Commerce and Industry, and the chairmen in the GCC Chamber Federation, with the participation of Sheikh Khalifa bin Jassim al-Thani, chairman of Qatar Chamber.
During the consultative meeting, the topics and recommendations submitted by the chairmen of the GCC Chamber Federations were discussed and appropriate pertaining decisions were taken.
Meanwhile, the GCC ministers of Commerce and Industry met with a group of Gulf entrepreneurs and discussed various aspects related to the entrepreneurship system, pointing out the most significant challenges and recommendations related to strengthening the Gulf entrepreneurship environment.
