On the advent of the blessed Eid al-Fitr, Qatar Charity (QC) has extended its warm congratulations and sincere wishes to the Qatari leadership, government, people, the Arab and Islamic nations, and all the philanthropists who have supported its ‘Ramadan of Hope’ drive, asking Allah to "return this occasion to everyone with good, blessing and happiness".

In a statement on Monday, QC said it "extends Eid al-Fitr greetings to His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani, Qatari citizens and residents, and the Arab and Muslim nations of the world, calling on Allah the Almighty to grant Qatar further safety, security, stability, prosperity, peace and progress, and keep all harm away from it".

Qatar Charity also hoped that the Covid-19 pandemic would recede soon, and the Arab and Islamic nations and the world would enjoy peace, safety and well-being.

QC expressed special thanks to donors and public and private sector institutions for supporting its ‘Ramadan of Hope’ campaign and 'Al-Aqraboon’ drive for those in debt, noting that their donations had a positive impact on millions at home and abroad, especially humanitarian crisis-hit communities, and contributed to alleviating the suffering of refugees, the displaced and the poor, and sharing joy with orphans and poor families.

Further, Qatar Charity thanked media and social media influencers for supporting its campaigns and Ramadan projects, considering them partners in its achievement and successes.

"Qatar Charity urges benefactors to continue supporting the needy and the poor with their generosity, noting the importance of continuing their donations throughout the year, especially in light of the challenging and exceptional circumstances experienced by many communities worldwide," the statement added.
