Weather charts indicate that the country will be affected by fresh to strong Northwesterly winds from Wednesday night to Friday wind speeds ranging between 15 to 25kt gusting to 35kt at times in some areas, the Department of Meteorology said Tuesday.
The strong winds can lead to blowing dust and low if visibility to less than 2km in some areas with dusty weather sometimes especially on Thursday. The expected wave height ranges between 7-11ft thatb can rise to 14ft in some areas where wind gusts exceed to 40kt in some areas.Wind speed gradually will decreases from Friday evening inshore, while the marine warning continues until Saturday.
A noticeable drop in temperatures too will be experienced dujring the period where the maximum ranges between 18 to 24 ° C and the minimum between 8 to 16 ° C that can become less, especially on the southern and external regions.
