As part of preparations to open student admission for the upcoming academic year, the Doha Institute for Graduate Studies (DI) has announced its new interactive initiative 'My Academic Discipline'.
The initiative will be held weekly in the form of meetings via Doha Institute social media platforms to introduce the 18 master programmes that are distributed over two schools: the School of Social Sciences and Humanities and the School of Public Administration and Development Economics.
Director of Communication and External Relations Department Ali Menadi al-Kaabi said: "The aim of this initiative is to provide an opportunity to distinguished students to learn more about the programmes, communicate directly with faculty members and ask questions."
The initiative seeks to bridge the gap between students wishing to complete their postgraduate studies on the one hand and the programme they want to join on the other.
"The Communication and External Relations Department will provide the necessary logistics and technical support to ensure the required follow-up by interested students., The initiative will make it easy for them to know about the disciplines available at DI, associated study plans, enrollment requirements, and professional orientations," al-Kaabi added.
Doha Institute for Graduate Studies announced the opening of online admission for the next academic year, starting from tomorrow until February 15.
