Amir holds phone talk with Putin

His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad all-Thani on Thursday held telephone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

They reviewed the strategic relations between the two friendly countries, in addition to ways of supporting and enhancing them in the fields of investment, military, defence, health and sports, especially the exchange of experiences in the field of organising FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.

The latest developments in global energy markets and the most prominent issues on the regional and international arenas were also discussed during the call.
