Government offices in Qatar will revert to the 7am to 1pm schedule from Sunday when they reopen after the Eid al-Fitr break.

This was announced by the Ministry of Administrative Development, Labour and Social Affairs (MADLSA) on its Twitter account on Thursday.

The stipulation on reducing the in-office staff strength to 20%, as part of the preventive and precautionary measures against Covid-19 in the country, will however continue, the MADLSA tweeted.

The remaining 80% of the staff are to resume work remotely. “We remind every one of the need to adhere to the precautionary measures announced to protect members of society from the coronavirus,” the Ministry added.
