The Public Prosecution represented by the Institute of Criminal Studies and the Department of International Co-operation organised the second workshop on combating human trafficking in co-operation with the National Committee to Combat Human Trafficking and the British embassy in Doha as part of the implementation of the international efforts to combat human trafficking.

The three-day workshop aimed at equipping participants with the necessary information and skills and knowledge of the rules of international law and the provisions of international conventions in the field of combating human trafficking.

The workshop is part of a series of other training programs to be held in Doha and London this year and early next year.

The workshop was attended by representatives of several official authorities in the country, namely the National Committee for Combating Human Trafficking, the Supreme Council of the Judiciary and the Ministry of Interior, as well as the Public Prosecution.
