A world-class connectivity experience awaits football enthusiasts in Doha, with Vodafone Qatar confirmed as the Official Telecommunications Sponsor of the 24th Arabian Gulf Cup. As part of the sponsorship, the company will provide state-of-the-art telecommunications infrastructure including its GigaNet network at the tournament stadiums – Khalifa International Stadium and Abdulla Bin Khalifa Stadium.
Organised by the Arab Gulf Cup Football Federation (AGCFF) and the Qatar Football Association (QFA), the tournament will be held from November 26 to December 8, with eight nations participating – Iraq, Kuwait, Oman, Yemen, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain and the host country Qatar. Thousands of football fans from Qatar, the region and the world are expected to attend the hotly-anticipated event and show their support for their national teams.
As the 24th Arabian Gulf Cup preparations accelerate, so will fans’ expectation for super-fast connectivity.
