A 14-member Qatar-based Kerala expatriate women’s cultural group, Noopuradwani, staged a mohiniyattam performance at Melpathur auditorium, Guruvayur, recently.

The team members are disciples of Kalamandalam Seema Rajith, a Doha-based dance exponent since 2019. During Covid-19 also all artistes were learning dance online, without any interruptions. “Performing at a much sought-after venue like Melpathur auditorium had been a dream for all of us and we could fulfill it,” said the teacher.
The members of the troupe included Anjana Shine, Aswathi Vinod, Divya Visha, Mridula Mukundan, Muth Abraham, Narayani Sreedevi, Anandakrishnan, Nisha Vijayakumar, Parvathy Sivan, Reema Sumesh, Renji Rajeswar, Reshma Hareesh, Simi Sureshkumar, Sudha Rajeevkumar and Sreedevi Thankamony.
The accompanying artistes were Kalamandalam Seema Rajith, Valsaraj Payyannur, Rajan Payyannur, Soundararajan, Sanalkumar Vatakara and Gangadharan Manantheri.
