MES Indian School observed Father’s Day with a special programme featuring students' speeches and dances to laud the significant roles played by fathers in building healthy families and how they are instrumental in influencing family members.
The entire school was decorated with the theme – 'My Dad My Super Hero.'
Senior vice president Dr K P Najeeb and director (academics) Kashif Jaleel graced the joyous celebration by their active participation as proud Kindergarten parents.
Principal Hameeda Kadar reflected on the great role played by fathers as a guide, role model and protector. She also remembered the worldly wisdom and guidance as well as sacrifices fathers make.
Students presented speeches, dances and powerpoint presentations that highlighted the importance of celebrating fatherhood.
A collage-making competition saw students acknowledging the importance of honouring fathers, paternal bonds, and the influence of fathers in society.
Students brought photos and prepared videos based on the topic ‘Thumbs up for the best Dad’. Teachers and students marked their memories of fathers on a specially arranged memory wall.
Students of grades I to III expressed their passion and respect by making ‘Greeting Cards’. Students of Grade IV wrote heartfelt messages as graffiti to convey their affection and fondness. Various fun-filled activities such as Bag Pack Race and Roll the Ball race were organised for the KG children.
Parents were given an opportunity to express their feelings through graffiti boards. Photo Booths were set up for parents to capture the precious moments at school. There was also a cake-cutting ceremony to honour the male members of the school.
