IIS Astronomy Club conducts webinar

The Astronomy Club of Ideal Indian School (IIS) recently conducted a webinar on the topic 'Five Unsolved Mysteries of the Universe'.
Govind Yadav, CEO of Vyomika Space Academy, India was the guest speaker. The session gave insights into the formation of the nebulae, the birth and death of stars and the existence of habitable exoplanets. Yadav, an eminent rocket engineer, has worked as aircraft system engineer at Air India and chief innovation officer at SDNx Foundation. He also received National Space Educator Award 2018 from NCERT. Nitin Kumar, director and co-founder at Vyomika Space Academy also joined the webinar.
The programme was attended by members of the Astronomy Club from various classes. There was an interactive session in which the young space enthusiasts raised a number of questions. Club secretary Calvin Bibu Xavier welcomed the gathering and president Saniya Bharde introduced the keynote speaker. Cultural secretary Ebenezer compered and secretary Afrah Shafi proposed a vote of thanks.
