Qatar's Internal Security Force (Lekhwiya) and the Ministry of Interior are participating in the joint tactical exercise 'Arab Gulf Security 3,' which starts in late January at the Training Institute for Security and Protection of Facilities in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia. The teams to participate in the drill have arrived in Saudi Arabia.
In a statement on Thursday, Lekhwiya said that the drill aims to enhance security cooperation and raise the level of coordination, interaction and exchange of experiences between the security services of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states, in addition to jointly plan to confront potential threats and risks.
