With an objective to motivate students to face exams and provide guidance in the selection of their career path, the Department of Guidance and Counselling of MES Indian School organised 'Success Mantra,' an online session for the students of Classes 9 and 11.
Principal Hameeda Kadar, also a counsellor of the Central Board of Secondary Education, in her inaugural address, emphasised the importance of exploring further options, understanding the competitive world, and building a dream career. Student counsellors Jisha A G and Fathima Samar briefed students on how to tackle exam stress and provided tips to enhance their confidence level. Career selection, planning, common entrance tests, requirements for applying to different colleges, and the necessity of registering in the CBSE career portal etc, were taken up for discussion during the session. School officials, class teachers, parents, and students attended the event.
