A total of 24 falconers will compete in the semifinals in five groups Tuesday morning at the 13th edition of the Qatar International Falcons and Hunting Festival (Marmi 2022). Later in the day, the ninth group qualifiers will be held in the Hadad Challenge championship.
The festival, being held under the patronage of HE Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad al-Thani in Sabkhat Marmi in Sealine, and organised by Qatari Al-Qannas Association, is continuing until January 29. Monday was day 10.



On Monday, Issa Ahmed al-Maadeed, Nawaf Nasser al-Shafi, Rashid Omar al-Hamidi and Team Al Shaqab qualified, bringing the number of semi-finalists to 21.
Ali bin Khatam al-Mahshadi, chairman of the Board of Directors of Qatari Al-Qannas Association and the Organising Committee of the Marmi Festival, congratulated the semi-finalists in Al-Tala’a championship.
Tuesday, in the evening, the local invitation championship will be held for the Qirnas Shaheen category and the Free Gear category (Farkh and Qirnas).
In a related context, the Organising Committee of the Marmi Festival 2022 announced the continuation of registration in the International Call Championship for the heat categories (Farkh and Qirnas) and Al-Shaheen (Qirnas) until January 24, provided that the contestant attaches a copy of the passport, the bird chip number and the name of the tournament he wishes to register in via WhatsApp number 0097433053334.
