His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani and his brother King Abdullah II bin al-Hussein of the sisterly Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan visited Wednesday the National Command Center (NCC).
During the visit, the Amir and the king of Jordan listened to an explanation about the center's specialisations and the nature of the tasks and roles it performs within its strategic plans, especially its dealing with incidents and crisis management. They were also briefed on the latest technical means used in the field of security systems, especially the center's preparations to secure the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.

The Amir and the king were accompanied during the visit by a number of Their Excellencies the ministers and senior officials of the Ministry of Interior, and members of the official delegation accompanying the king.
His Highness the Amir and the Jordanian king visited the Education City Stadium, which will host the FIFA World Cup 2022 matches up to the quarter-finals.
The Amir and the King listened to a briefing on the facilities contained in the stadium, and its architectural design which is in line with the highest international standards.
They were accompanied by a number of ministers, and a number of ranking officials at the Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy, and on the Jordanian side by members of the official delegation accompanying the king.
His Highness the Amir led well-wishers to see off King Abdullah II , upon his departure with the accompanying delegation from the Doha International Airport Wednesday afternoon, after the end of an official visit to the country.
HE the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defence Affairs Dr Khalid bin Mohammed al-Attiyah, who is also head of the honorary mission accompanying the king was present , along with a number of Sheikhs, Qatar's Ambassador to Jordan Sheikh Saoud bin Nasser bin Jassim al-Thani, and Jordanian Ambassador Zaid Mufleh al-Lawzi.
