On the occasion of ‘World Literacy Day’, MES Indian School (MESIS), Abu Hamour Branch, held various activities at the school, to give an insight into literacy being a human right and basis of all knowledge. The theme was 'Literacy for a human centered recovery: Narrowing the digital divide'.
Students of grade I, II and III had JAM (Just a Minute) - a short talk on the topic 'My School'.
Students of grade IV and V had a story telling competition.
The Covid-19 crisis has disrupted the learning of children, young people and adults at an unprecedented scale. Students of grade VI, VII and VIII had poster-making and essay writing competitions on the disruption caused to education by the pandemic.
