The Public Relations Department of the Ministry of Interior in association with the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) of General Directorate of Criminal Investigation, will host Thursday on Zoom an awareness webinar titled 'Various Crimes and Ways of Prevention' from 9.30am to 11am.
A speaker from the CID will present a paper on various functions and services of the department, as well as general awareness tips on sense of security, securing the vehicles, precautionary measures to be taken while withdrawing funds from banks and ATM, securing the houses, companies headquarters and residential complexes.
The lecture will shed light on the instructions for the employers and staff to secure personal belongings at the company accommodations and while going out. The speaker will also discuss the law on photographing and filming government buildings and locations, military, diplomatic and sensitive organisations.
The targeted audience of this seminar in particular are the administration, HR, finance, safety and security managers and PROs of the public and private companies and schools and the heads and representatives of expat communities. The interested members of the public also can attend this seminar as it is an open session for all with the aim of raising awareness among the general public.
