Al Arabi beat defending champions Al Duhail 30-28 after a penalty throw-off in the final to win their maiden Qatar Cup handball title on Monday. The scores were tied 26-26 at the end of regulation time. Al Arabi defeated Al Wakrah 25-20 in the first semi-final, while Al Duhail defeated Al-Gharafa 31-21 in the second semi-final.
