MES Indian School recently invested duties and responsibilities to the student council members of the school for the academic session 2021-22 at the Investiture Ceremony held on Zoom platform.
The inductees included school appointees, secretaries of various clubs and house captains.
Chief guest K Abdul Karim, president of MES governing board, in his keynote address said: “As young leaders, you are expected to strive to be passionate and curious about your accomplishments and execute perfection in all the assigned tasks.
"You can start by contributing to your school. And in time, you too can be pioneers of your generation to influence the world of tomorrow.”
Speaking on the occasion Hameeda Kadar, MES principal, urged the students to be proactive about the assigned tasks and not to settle for easy accomplishments as complacency and saturation will deteriorate their potential and other leadership traits in them.
The major student office-bearers are: Mohamed Hamd Ashfaque, Head Boy; Bhavna Biju, Head Girl; Jeswin Binu Chacko and Fathima Rafa Faisal, Head Prefects.
In the Junior section, Atheequr Rahman is Head Boy and Sara Gigani, Head Girl.

The ICT department made all necessary arrangements for the digital meeting.
