Oman reports 1,128 new coronavirus cases and 9 deaths

The Omani Ministry of Health announced on Tuesday that 1,128 new cases of coronavirus (Covid-19) were recorded in the Sultanate, in addition to nine deaths and 1,145 recoveries.

The Ministry said in a statement carried by Oman News Agency (ONA) that the total number of cases registered in the Sultanate reached 191,398, while death toll reached 1,922, and total recoveries reached 170,929 or 89.3 percent.

Patients who have been isolated in hospitals due to infections in the past 24 hours reached 93 cases, bringing the total to 814, while patients in the intensive care units reached 283 cases, the Ministry added. (QNA)
