His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani and His Highness the Deputy Amir Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad al-Thani sent on Friday cables of condolences to the Chairman of the Transitional Sovereignty Council of Sudan, Lt. Gen. Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, on the death of head of the National Umma Party (NUP) and former prime minister Sadiq al-Mahdi.
HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz al-Thani also sent a similar cable to Prime Minister Dr Abdalla Hamdok.
