The Cultural Village Foundation – Katara continued its Eid al-Adha celebrations amid a cheerful atmosphere as visitors enjoyed quality programmes while adhering to preventive measures, in line with the policies adopted by the state to prevent the spread of the coronavirus (Covid-19).
Katara is considered one of the main tourist destinations that everyone intends to enjoy during the Eid holidays. The distribution of Eid gifts to cars visiting the Cultural Village brought excitement and smiles to the children visiting Katara with their families. Katara also took into account the age groups when choosing Eid gifts and made sure that the gifts should suit girls and boys.
The Katara beach, which is one of the most beautiful beaches in the country, where families can find a wonderful place for swimming and sport, receives visitors from 3-10pm. The beach administration has allocated places for owners of watercrafts away from the swimming areas.
Furthermore, Katara organised several activities, including choosing the most beautiful costume for children, in which prizes were awarded to the five winners from each competition, for photo or video.
The Cultural Village is organising the Eid al-Adha 2020 competition on Katara’s Instagram account, with questions related to the Foundation’s activities in the past years and has allocated valuable prizes for it, in addition to virtual fireworks display on its website.
The activities will continue for the fourth day of Eid al-Adha, with Katara’s gifts being distributed from 5-9pm.
