Weather inshore until 6pm on Sunday will be partly cloudy with chance of scattered rain which can be thundery at some places with blowing dust at times, the Department of Meteorology said in its daily weather report, warning of expected thundery rain and strong wind at places with poor horizontal visibility at times.

Offshore, it will be slight dust to dusty at times and cloudy to partly cloudy with scattered rain which may become thundery till noon, the report added, warning of expected thunder rain, strong wind and high sea.

Wind inshore will be southeasterly 12 to 22 knot, reaching to 32 knot at times during thundery rain, gradually shifting to northerly to northwesterly by afternoon.

Offshore, it will be southeasterly to northeasterly 18 to 28 knot, gusting to 38 knot at times.

Visibility will be 4 to 8/2km or less at some places at times.

Sea state inshore will be 2 to 4 feet, rises to 5 feet at times. Offshore, it will be 6 to 8 feet, rises to 13 feet at times.
