Temporary closure on Gharrafat Al Rayyan Interchange tunnel

The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) has announced a temporary closure on Gharrafat Al Rayyan Interchange tunnel for five hours daily from midnight to 5am from February 16-29 and 24-hour closure on February 21 and 28. 
The closure, in co-ordination with the General Directorate of Traffic, is to complete works of the intelligent transportation system as part of Khalifa Avenue project.
During the closure, road users coming from Gharrafat Al Rayyan and heading towards Doha will be directed to the signalised Gharrafat Al Rayyan Interchange.
Ashghal will install road signs advising motorists of the closure and requested road users to abide by the existing speed limit and follow the road signs to ensure safety.
