Safari, a leading hypermarket chain in Doha, is celebrating the ninth anniversary of Safari Mall, one of the largest such outlets located in Abu Hamour.
As part of the celebration, Safari has planned “unique offers and exclusive gifts” for its customers, with the promotions starting today.
“For the ninth anniversary celebrations, Safari has lined up some extensive promotions, offers and a competition. Selected items will be available for attractive prices, such as a 5kg Punjab Garden basmati rice bag worth QR32 for only QR23.75, 100ml Jaguar perfume for QR38.75 instead of QR74, two 3kg packets of Ariel for QR52 instead of QR87.50, 1.6-litre Tiger vacuum flask for QR69, 1.5-litre Moulinex mixer for QR129 and iLife ZedAir X laptop worth QR999 for only QR699,” Safari said in a statement yesterday.
The Safari Bakery & Hot food division has organised the Flavour 2019 Food Festival as part of the anniversary celebration, wherein customers can taste and experience famous cuisines from different places.
Customers can relish a wide variety of flavours, such as Indian, Sri Lankan, Nepalese, Bangladeshi, Arabic, Filipino, Chinese and Pakistani. Dishes like Chettinad chicken curry, Beef vindaloo, Hyderabadi chicken dum biryani, Sindhi biryani, Thalappakatti chicken dum biryani, Alappuzha shrimp curry, Butter bread, Marble cake, Mothichoor laddu, Indian sweets, Kothu porota, Watalappam, Mutton momo, Arabic mutton, Seekh kebab, Arabic chicken kebab, Mutton kabsa, Chicken majboos, Mutton chops, Mixed fried rice, Mutton fried rice, Cream caramel, Chilli prawns fry, Hong Kong fried rice, Chilli beef, Singapore chicken fried rice, Mutton Peshawari, Dal fry, etc, will be available as part of Flavours 2019.
The promotions and offers do not end there, as customers can find offers on fresh food, fruits and vegetables, grocery, household, cosmetics, electronics, toys and stationery, garments and bedware items.

In addition to the exclusive offers and Flavours 2019, Safari has announced the Biryani Eating Challenge competition for food lovers on October 20. Participants who eat 1kg biryani in the minimum time will be the winner.
The first winner will receive a Safari gift voucher worth QR1,000 plus a 32-inch LED TV, the second winner will get a Safari gift voucher worth QR500 plus a 32-inch LED TV and the third winner will take home a Safari gift voucher worth QR250 and a 32-inch LED TV.
