Qatar Chamber has been invited to participate in the ‘International Investment Conference in Tourism’ slated from June 26 to 28 in Caracas, Venezuela.
This was announced by Qatar Chamber second vice chairman Rashid bin Hamad al-Athba, who held a meeting with Venezuelan ambassador Giuseppe Angelo Yoffreda Yorio on Wednesday.
During the meeting, Yorio reviewed the objectives of the conference, which aims to attract foreign investments to Venezuela’s tourism sectors. The ambassador encouraged Qatari businessmen to explore investment opportunities available in Venezuela.
Yorio noted that the conference would offer many investment opportunities, which include “all economic and touristic potentials,” particularly in three Venezuelan islands. Aside from tourism, Yorio said, the country’s oil, gold, mining, and agriculture sectors are also open for investments.
The ambassador also affirmed his country’s interest to promote relations with Qatar “in all economic and commercial aspects.”
For his part, al-Athba lauded the “distinguished relations” of both countries, noting that Qatar Chamber is ready to promote Venezuela’s investment opportunities to Qatari businessmen.
“Qatari businessmen are open to all world markets and the chamber encourages them to explore the investment climate in Venezuela,” he said.
