Qatar Foundation (QF) vice chairperson and CEO HE Sheikha Hind bint Hamad al-Thani and Qatar Fund for Development (QFFD) director general Khalifa al-Kuwari on Wednesday signed a Memorandum of Understanding to enhance co-operation in the fields of education, scientific research, and international development.

HE Sheikha Hind said, “We are pleased to be partnering with the Qatar Fund for Development. Together, we will strive to provide greater learning opportunities to young people, creating global citizens who are equipped to deliver sustainable impact in Qatar and beyond. At Qatar Foundation, we believe that today’s youth will be tomorrow’s leaders, therefore, investing in their development is the single most important investment for our future.”

Al-Kuwari said,“This agreement is in line with QFFD’s commitment to building close relations with different government and non-governmental institutions in Qatar, to benefit from their expertise in the field of international development, and to enhance the external aid provided by the state and create sustainable impact.”

As part of the agreement, QFFD will also participate in international events, including workshops and conferences that focus on humanitarian aid. In particular, those in the field of education, such as the World Innovation Summit for Education and the World Innovation Summit for Health, both of which are global initiatives of QF.
