Qatar Museums is getting ready to present the first exhibition dedicated to the work of two of the most important artists of the 20th century, Pablo Picasso and Alberto Giacometti, at the Fire Station’s Garage Gallery. 
 Running from February 22 until May 21, the exhibition will bring together more than 120 works, drawn from the collections of the Musée national Picasso-Paris and the Fondation Giacometti in Paris, as well as exceptional loans from French and other international collections.  
Also for the first time, this exhibition will reveal the ‘unique and captivating story’ of Picasso and Giacometti, who shared many key moments during their long and distinguished careers, according to a press statement from Qatar Museums. 
  On February 22, a public roundtable event will take place at the Fire Station auditorium from 6pm to 8pm,with Catherine Grenier and the Musée national Picasso-Paris director Laurent Le Bon. 
The event will see both directors discuss the exhibition, its concept, development and curation.
